The Great Hunt for the perfect location – and going digital for help

October 2023: Hmmm... where should our distillery be located? We travel between cities and places, searching for the perfect location—preferably one near water and rich in history, something we can build our business around. Unfortunately, in several towns, we find that most properties with historical significance are either heritage-listed or simply demolished. Finally, we put out a call for suggestions on social media and receive a tip about the old gunpowder factory in Åkers Styckebruk.
