Cherished Reunions and New Connections Across Europe

The central event of the year, BCB (Bar Convent Berlin) 2024, takes place in October, and of course, we’ll be there! It’s the perfect opportunity to meet with both suppliers and partners.

We’re also lucky enough to reunite with our dear friend Lewis Hayes from Dropworks Distillery!

As the saying goes, it’s always good to kill two birds with one stone, so we’re making the most of our trip by visiting various distilleries across Denmark and Germany. One of the highlights is a magical tour led by Lasse Vesterby at Stauning Whisky, where we get to explore their truly spectacular distillery—home to no fewer than 16 pot stills!

Our journey continues with a delightful tasting session hosted by Henrik Agger at Lowlands. We then dive deep into history at Flensburg’s oldest rum house, Johannsen Rum, where we sample their traditional Rum Verschnitt.

Another wow moment comes when we step inside the vast facilities at Schloss Rattey, where we’re given an exclusive tour by Richard Gründger. He even lets us taste wine from the enormous tanks, making for an unforgettable experience!
